Valentines Day

I hope everyone had a fabulous Valentines Day. Growing up I was always visited by the "VALETINES DAY FAIRY" She would leave presents for us on Vday. Cause she pretty much loved us. It was an excellent day for our Christmas withdrawls I think.
Anyway- when Ryan and I got married I wanted to continue the tradition and since then we give each other gifts on Valentines Day.
I had been giving Ryan hints on gift ideas. Willow tree dolls, a new frying pan... flowers :)
What I wanted more than anything was a Wii fit. My inlaws went out of town last week and we borrowed theirs. I worked out for 45 minutes a day and it was awesome. I loved it. And I totally "felt the burn". I was really sad to give it back to them when they came back in town. I figured I would have to wait until my Birthday since the Wii Fit was a bit to pricey for the "VALENTINES DAY FAIRY".
Well- Ryan, for the first time EVER completely surprised me and got me a Wii Fit.
I was sooo excited.
Not only that- but check this out:

Yeah... my husband loves me.

Okay- really only one of the vases were mine :)

We had a flower arranging fiesta at my house in anticipation of a very generous Vday party thrown by Chris and Tara (pictured in the snow).
They went all out and threw an amazing party with amazing food. Filled with amazing memories (am I sounding corny enough, yet?)
I need to pay tribute to them. They put a lot of work and effort into making it a special evening for a lot of people. Thank you guys so much for the delicious food and the fun games. You're great friends- and it truly was a success. Unfortunately I didn't get pics of the actual dinner. But it was beautiful!

I feel so blessed to have spent yesterday- and every day with two very special guys. My husband and son. You both are the world to me.

I am glad you had a wonderful valentines day. That is awesome that you got a wii fit, sweet. What an awesome husband. I am glad the party was fun, we already had plans or else we would have come. Those roses are beautiful.

My hubby got me that too! I am really sick so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Do I need anything to go with it? I love those flowers. They almost look fake! Where did they get them? I didn't even know they were having a party. How fun!

The flowers look fake because I WAY overdid it with the sparkle spray. I should have just put a little on to give them a "hint" of silver flakes; but it was so much fun I couldn't resist. I couldn't resist spraying the flowers, the candles, the crystal, the cats, the dog.....pretty much everything in your house looks sparklyfabulous now. Don't bother thanking me...
And thanks for all your help. You two really allowed the whole thing to come together.

hmmm that wii of yours would look pretty cool with some silver sparkle on it.
