Sometimes he makes me wonder...

Sometimes it really does feel like Ryan and I are on different planets.

Never fear- I have an example:

I mentioned before I do laundry on the weekends while I work graves. Wash, fold and put away- all in an eight hour shift. I can do this because USUALLY work is slow.
Last weekend- work was not slow. There was bad weather in the northeast which affected flight operations. So even at three in the morning, work was really busy with calls.

On my breaks I was able to switch the loads of laundry- but I was only able to fold and put away Jayden's clothes. A basket of Ryan's clean clothes sat in the laundry room... down two flights of stairs from our bedroom.

Monday morning Ryan woke up at 3:30 a.m. ... he takes a shower. Walks downstairs- two flights of stairs in his birthday suit to the COLD laundry room. He picks out his clothes for the day from the basket. Comes back upstairs- and changes into them.

Tuesday morning- exact same scenario.

Wednesday morning- Im starting to wonder why he doesn't just bring the laundry basket upstairs (Actually- I was wondering that on Monday- but on Wednesday it was really starting to confuse me).

This goes on and on until Friday when I finally get a chance to fold and put away the clothes. By the time I get to his basket- there are only two shirts left.

Why do I even bother folding and putting away his clothes???

Don't we love our husbands?!
Only boys would do that, girls never would.

I'm convinced Laundry is only for women, if men had it their way...well they'd do it, but it certainly wouldn't ever be "put away" but really, who wants to have baskets of clean clothes laying around the house? Not me.
