Six Months Old!!!

Well it has been almost a month since I have uploaded my camera onto the computer- so anticipate lots of pictures and videos. Jayden turned six months old today! Oh my goodness- time flies. I can't believe how much our little guy has grown!

So much has happened in the last six months. I am completely dumbfounded how much a baby can grow and learn in just two short months! This is what Jayders has been up to:
Here is a video of his first feeding. Our Dr. told us not to give him solids till 6 months- but we really felt like he was ready. He did a great job the first time.

Jayden loves to shake his head- I was worried at first... but the Dr said it was OK.

He is sort of sitting up on his own. For some reason he refuses to sit in the bath tub. Hopefully soon... :)

He chews on everything in site... people, paper, toys. He has definitely become a true thumb sucker and absolutely refuses the binky.

He is still a great sleeper. 12 hour nights (with a few exceptions) and two 1-3 hour naps.

Jayden LOVES signing time. Im hoping in a month or so he'll be able to sign to us what he wants. As soon as the introduction on the DVD starts his head turns towards the TV and he will not look at anything else. He laughs at some of the signs- it's totally awesome. I recommend it to all parents.

He is a roller. We'll set him down on one side of our family room and within 2 minutes he's rolled across the entire floor. He just keeps going and going until some piece of furniture stops him.

He LOVES his toys. Luckily he's not too hard to entertain. He totally scored on Christmas :)

The bumper was intact when I put him down for his nap- but this is what I found when I heard him wake up. Little stinker. He is such a joy to be around.

All right- time for a little break on the photos and video. Jayden had his six month check up today. He was 19 pounds and 28 inches. He was in the 95th percentile in height- and 75 percentile in weight. His head was in the 75 percentile as well. His heart and lungs sound great. He sort of "yelled" when he got his shots. I say yelled cause it wasn't really long enough to be a scream. His face got real red, he went "AHHH!" and then he was fine. What a good guy :)
