A little more Halloween

I was asked by a few people "Was Ryan dressed as a pirate too?" Well... Ryan refused to dress up this year. Just like he has refused the last 3 years. But on November 1st 2008 Ryan wore a Halloween costume. Our friends Chris and Tara invited us over to their parents house for a "Halloween dinner". The catch? You had to dress up or they would dress you up. So we finally got Ryan to dress up for Halloween. Unfortunately Chris gave me a double chin in this picture... ;)

Here is Jayden- totally ready to PARTAY

We didn't trick or treat this year. Even though we have a baby now- we didn't need anymore candy. We ended up getting a lot of trick-or-treaters. Around 8 we went to the end of Nikki's (Ryan's little sister) volleyball game at SLCC.

Ryan finished the stairs and railing on the deck. It looks really good. I need to go out and take a picture.
I took down all of our Halloween decorations- but left the "Fall" stuff up. I can't wait to get out the Christmas decorations. I honestly don't know if Im going to be able to wait until the day after Thanksgiving... I'm already listening to Christmas music. Jayden and I listen to it while I feed him before bed. And when I feed him right after he wakes up... Ryan says, "poor jayden" I have no problem stretching the Christmas season to last a little less than two months. I don't get sick of it- so I figure it's all good.

Jayden has been sleeping 12 hours the last 5 nights. And today he took 4 mini naps (mini= less than an hour). Im pretty sure he's in for another growth spurt. He has been growing so fast. I just want it to slow down a little. He's already grown out of a few of his six month clothes... he's only 3 1/2 months!!

He can now roll over. He has only done it twice. He is trying so hard to sit up. I need to take a video and post it on this blog.
I have been working on digital scrap booking... All pictures of Jayden. I have 10 pages done so far. Only 20 days worth of pictures... sad huh? It's fun to do though. Work is usually really slow from 5:15am-7:15am... so Im able to do a lot of it then. Speaking of work- it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. It has actually been pretty slow- which I really enjoy. They have let me off early quite a few times and I certainly take advantage of it. I keep going back and forth on whether or not I should quit... I've been offered a few other opportunities Im just really worried about losing my benefits since the economy is a little rocky. I have been praying about it for weeks- and still have not gotten an answer. I'm not sure what that means.

Anyway- I'll end with a cute picture... Cam I hope you don't mind-

She is three months older than Jayden... I think Jayden just looks bored in more than half of our pictures of him. Just a little observer like his daddy

I totally agree with the Christmas music! Why not have those happy little songs playing a little bit longer? Luckily Nick's a fan of listening early too, so I'm set :)
